1989 RADIO

XTC got a bit of radio play in ' 89, but like each of the splendid slabs of song they served up in the past this one too failed to make them a household name. Ah well, that's certainly not this world over. We all know that radio sucks. Sadly, the world paid far more attention to Rob Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan (Milli Vanilli) than they did a trio from Swindon who not only wrote and played their own music, they actually sang it too.
